Want to connect Jira to Task.it?
Does your team use Jira to manage team tasks?
The problem is that all those tasks in Jira still have to be scheduled onto your calendar if you are going to get them done.
Here’s a new time-saving shortcut to use with Task.it.
Zapier is a service that allows you to connect actions on one website to actions on another.
We have created a Zapier connector between Jira issues and Task.it.
Using this “Zap”, you can write a JQL query to filter out issues in Jira from specific projects that are assigned to you. (If you are unsure what JQL to use, go to ISSUES in Jira, then on the SEARCH line, look to the right side of the screen for the JQL choice. You can test JQL queries there to ensure the Zap is getting the right issues.)
This Zap works if you have your Task.it tasks on a Google calendar.
You can modify the “ON WEEKDAYS” command in the Description section of the calendar event with other Task.it Commands to create other types of automatically managed Task.it tasks.
